How To Use A Bunn Coffee Maker
In some ways Bunn coffee makers are similar to many other coffee machines on the market; however, several features set them apart. One of the main differences is the speed at which Bunn coffee machines produce the perfect brew.
As with any method of making a decent cup of ground coffee, you will need the freshest coffee you can find, to suit your palate. Filtered water is recommended, especially if you live in an area where your water has a high calcium content.
One of the main differences between a Bunn coffee maker and a standard coffee machine is the brewing compartment, which usually sits beneath the warmer switch. Open the lid and check that the brewing funnel is directed towards the compartment. Pour in a cup of water, place your cup or carafe on the warmer, close the lid, and wait around three minutes.
Make sure the water reservoir is full, switch the machine on, and wait around ten to fifteen minutes for the water to reach optimum brewing temperature. Pop a filter into the brewing tunnel, add the appropriate amount of coffee – around 2 ounces per cup – and turn on the warmer switch. Your Bunn coffee maker should start brewing as soon as the water is hot enough.
How To Clean A Bunn Coffee Maker
You should wash and dry your coffee pot between uses. Don’t use anything too abrasive: a little gentle detergent, warm water, and a soft cloth should keep the pot sparkling. Coffee pots and filters should usually dishwasher safe, but keep them to the top rack, and don’t wash the coffee pot lid in the dishwasher. The brew funnel also needs to be washed every few days.
Vinegar is your friend when it comes to soaking coffee pots and keeping them clean. Add vinegar to your coffee pot, leave for a couple of hours. Then wash gently as described above, dry, and reuse. To keep the outside of your Bunn coffee maker looking lovely, wipe over with a damp cloth with a little non-Citrus dish soap added.
Bunn Coffee Maker Warranty
Bunn coffee makers are built to last, and their industry-leading warranty reflects this. Their machines ship with a 3-year warranty, reflecting the company’s confidence in their products. Home coffee makers are tested in the same laboratories as the commercial equipment.
Bunn began as, and remains, a family-run company. Over 170 years ago Jacob Bunn opened his grocery store in Springfield, Illinois. One of his earliest customers? A diffident young man by the name of Abraham Lincoln….
Conclusion: Which Bunn Coffee Maker To Buy?
Like you, we love coffee. And while we know that so many good things take time, we love the fact that with Bunn coffee machines, you can have your coffee quickly, but still have a great-tasting beverage. If you’re a household that loves coffee, Bunn coffee makers are the ideal choice for you.
